fashion ethics
in the video many things are changed to this womens appearence. First they do the typical and ok thing to do,apply makeup, and do her hair. However it is right after that, that they use the computer to raise her neck ,reduce her shoulder with a bit, lift her eyes, reduce the width of her forehead and also bring her hair out a bit to cover a little bit of her ear. I believe that in these cases people should not make pictures better if it is not real. it is like trying to make the perfect person wich there is none. That is the reason alot of women think badly of themselves, i believe that this should not be aloud.

UW-Madison
this article was about the UW-Madison application that ws sent out. The application seems to show a young black mans face wich was altered in there with out permission. The face was reversed and inserted on the cover to show diversity in the college. However it was discovered shortly after to be fixed from an all-white fan picture to one with a african american student.
I believe it was wrong of them to do this because it seems a bit racist. They really only did it for competition and their own use which none of thiis should have happenned.

Sports
in this photo what i see is leading lines and as we can see its a candid photo. This was shot at a womens basketball game . the shutter speed was obviosly set fast because there is no possible way to get such a great shot on a slow shutter speed. i believe this photographer was laying on their stomach wit the camera pointing up. This shutter speed affect causes us to see how emotional and into this game these youg ladys were.Repetition

Sugar Hill
- Melanie Burford uses certain skills such as interacting with her subjects and you cant because they feel comfortable doing what they need or want to do. She also seems to use leading lines, simplicity, and rule of thirds.
- The effect of the slideshow is very powerful. As the slideshow moves slowly we see and feel all pain and emotion through the picture. The time allows us to interpret and feel what the subjects feel. Its very powerful. The black and white contrast also shows meaning. the way this photographer uses leading lines it makes the picture seems it has no end or if there is great emotion it is almost as if the emotions have no end
- THE MOST INTERESTING FEATURE ON THE MULTIMEDIA PAGE IS ALL THE VIDEOS. they have such intense feelings and emotions sent through your body and mind. ITS AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! besides the fact that it is awsome there is another great feature. All these interesting videos. They show how corrupted sugar hill really is and if it duznt completly show it then u still see a little bit but you know if more was shown it would be HORRIBLE!!

After shooting pictures i finally was able to print. The first step was to choose my picture which i wanted to print. I cleaned my negatives by dipping it in a liquid called the "negative cleaner". next u wipe it down and place it in the enlarger. then i turned on the light to preview the picture to see if it was to light or dark. then turn off the light and set the timer to 2 seconds. take out the paper place it under the lens part, make sure not to turn on the light because it can expose the paper, after the paper is in place press the start button and wait for the 2 sec. 2 end. Then u have to place the paper in to the development for 1 minute then into the stop bath for 15 sec and the fixer for 2 minutes lastly you place it in the water for 5 minutes then let it to dry.

masters of pictures
well i like this picture which was taken by Ansel Adams of Old Faithful. i believe this is a candid foto i like how he caught the moment of the gyser errupting. i find it quite interesting.i like how the picture loooks real and alive as if there was noway for this to be unreal. i love the fact that is pure nature.
in this picture i love the mood of sadness captured by Cameron. cameron seems to have captured all sense of the word sadness showing that tears are not needed for a photo of sadness. this is obviously not candid but it does let all the emotion show and flow through this one person and object to the extent were one may even feel the unseen hurt in her eyes.
In this photo titled "theater tickets "which was shot by klein we see many people yet we no specifically who the subject is. with all these people moving we can tell that this is a candid photo. i luv the sense of rush hour or just plain rush it gives the word new meaning.

negative photo
I like this pictuer because of the way the rocks are situated. They tend to make it look like a waterfall. I love how the water seems like a little stream cought between rocks causing a small waterfall. Its not just any type of rocks there huge boulders covering a stream, river, lake type thing. Somehow the water managed to get through. Its really a beautiful picture with or with out color.

The Camera
The difference between my pinhole camera and an SLR camera is one can actually take more pictures at one time. Well there are many differences between the two cameras. For starters the SLR is obviously more comlex than the pinhole cam. The SLR is made up of many different parts other than just an otmeal container, tape, paper, and sunlight. The pinhole pictures were in black and white yet the SLR's can be in either black and white or color. Another difference is that with the SLR you can adjust the amount of light needed unlike the pinhole.
